Our Z bedroom hotels are small modern hotels perfectly formed with organic cotton bed linen. We like to think they are works of genius and you will wonder why you have ever spent more on space. The smallest bedrooms start from 8m2 (85 sq ft). Our typical bedrooms are 10-12 m2 (110-130 sq ft). That’s around half the size of a traditional bedroom. We've taken away baths and fitted all rooms with amazing showers.

A bespoke designed room with organic cotton bed linen. In-room entertainment (Samsung HDTVs with Sky & BT Sports). An en-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries. Storage under the bed and hanging space. Individual controlled air-conditioning. In-room tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water and all with free WiFi.

No phones. No minibars. No safes. Although please don't worry if you have any valuables, ask reception to store items safely for you. All of our city centre hotels have café areas perfect for a little work space, tea, coffee and alcoholic beverage of choice. Perfect for a short stay for you while you explore the city.

Yes we do and perhaps our Z Hotel in Gloucester Place would suit you. Gloucester Place offers a Z King and Z Junior Suite with 20-30 sq m (210-320 sq ft). Both have wardrobes. The Junior Suite has a seating area with enough space for to put your feet up and make yourself at home. The cafe area is perfect for toasties, salads, pizzas, wine, beer or any other drink that takes your fancy.

Sadly we have no twin bedrooms available within the portfolio. Cosy up for a comfy stay in our Queen bedrooms though.

Yes there is. We are very family friendly. Our hotels in Shoreditch, City, Covent Garden and Holborn have new family rooms for four guests with queen or double bunk beds. There are separate stairs to the top tier. Each level gets its own HD Smart TV with games, apps, internet, Sky and BT Sports. These family rooms get booked up quickly though so plan in advance for your stay.

We do have a limited number of cots and rollaway beds. We fully advise to contact the hotel direct before you book so we can prepare for you.

A room with a view you ask. You can admire the city from the majority of our Z bedrooms. We have some windowless rooms called Z Inside (for example Z Inside Double and Z Inside Queen). They have everything a standard Z room has and a lower rate to reflect this.

Yes. With the exception of Liverpool, Glasgow and Soho. And all with the same high standards and features you would expect from our Z Hotels.

We've maximised the space in our bedrooms so have no baths in our bedrooms. What we do have are amazing showers, all designed with frosted glass partitions between the bedroom and shower room which give you an element of privacy. Compact luxury at it's best.

Smoking is illegal in all enclosed and closed spaces and has been in England since 2007 and in Scotland since 2006. This applies to all of our properties and includes vaping and e-cigarettes.

We do have hotels with bedrooms where the window does not open at all, and some hotels where the window opens slightly, all in accordance with health and safety guidelines for each city, London, Bath, Liverpool & Glasgow. For more information please contact the hotel directly. All rooms come with individually controlled air conditioning.

We do not have interconnecting rooms. If you’re travelling with friends and would like to be neighbours, then just ask. If we have availability, we can put you near each other. We do have family rooms in Z Shoreditch, Z City, Z Covent Garden and Z Holborn which we would recommend too.

No. We like equality in our pricing. You get like-for-like bedroom prices in all our hotels. And they’re the same price on hotel booking sites, too.

Yes they do depending on demand and season. Booking in advance will help you achieve lower rates as will booking direct via our website. Becoming a Z Member will always ensure that you receive 10% off, plus many additional benefits.

All of our hotels feature an all day café & late night bar. We have a fantastic value breakfast buffet available as well as many options for food and drink throughout the day. Our cafes are the ideal spot to relax outside of your bedroom, to hold an informal business meeting, or simple to sit, read and relax. Why not finish your evening with a night cap. Stay at Z City and enjoy our Temple 24 all day eatery and wine bar, alongside a wide selection of expertly chosen wines. Pizzas, toasties and delicious salads. For something extra book a Z Club room at Gloucester Place, where we provide soft drinks, snacks, wine and cocktails as part of our service all included within the room price.

All of our hotels are in city locations, centrally located. Pack your walking shoes to experience the city by foot, accessing all that there is to offer on your doorstep. For example, did you know that we have three hotels near, and in and around Covent Garden, (one on the Strand, and one a few minutes walk from Trafalgar Square), prime locations for West End Theatres, restaurants, bars, clubs all on your doorstep. Liverpool, Glasgow and Bath could not make your city stop more inviting with entertainment right on the doorstep. Modern hotels in city locations are exactly what Z Hotels is all about.

Yes, exciting times ahead. We have just acquired another hotel in another prime location in central London. We can’t reveal too much about them yet but keep checking our website for further details.

All Z Hotels have accessible (DDA compliant) rooms and wheelchair access, except for Z Gloucester Place. Gloucester Place is a listed building, therefore it was not possible to adapt the hotel to include wheelchair access.

You can check in to our hotels at 3pm. With check out set at 11am. You can pay extra to request flexibility on this request though. This is also possible as a member too so worth taking a look at our additional benefits on the Member tab on our website.

Booking direct and becoming a member is our little thank you for being a loyal guest. It’s a thank you for being our loyal guest. Benefits are complimentary upgrades and late check outs, subject to availability. 10% off food and beverage (excluding breakfast). Complimentary cheese and wine every night you stay with us. As well as 10% discount on all bookings. Any of our hotel teams will talk you through the Membership options too.

We pride ourselves with friendly and helpful teams to assist you during your time with us. Our reception and café areas are open 24/7 and can help guide you with travel plans, restaurant recommendations, dry cleaning options and many more tips too guide you.

We don’t have private meeting rooms in our hotels (we thought we’d give you more great bedrooms instead). Feel free to use our cafes for a more informal meeting though, they are open 24 hours.

We are so sorry no pets are allowed in our hotels, with the exception of assistance dogs. Remember though we have complimentary Wi-Fi so it's definitely possible to video call them if you’re missing them!
